Madden 25 Will Be Skipping The Wii U

No Madden 25 On Wii U

According to a report from Nintendo World Report, an EA representative has confirmed that Madden 25 will not be released for the Wii U.

An official statement from EA reads:

“We will not be releasing a Wii U version of Madden NFL in 2013. However, we have a strong partnership with Nintendo and will continue to evaluate opportunities for delivering additional Madden NFL products for Nintendo fans in the future.”

Madden games have appeared on most Nintendo games since 1991. This year, it has been confirmed that Madden 25 will skip the Wii U and any other Nintendo platform. This is sad news since last year’s Madden NFL 13 was released both for the Wii and Wii U consoles. The 3DS received Madden in 2011 but another game from the franchise never hit the console ever since.

If you want to play Madden 25 this year, you will have to get it on Xbox 360 or PS3 instead.
