EA and GAME have teamed up to bring a FIFA 15 related pre-order bonus to football fans in the UK.
According to Twitter anyone who pre-orders the Ultimate Team Edition of the game will receive Messi for their first five games and 40 gold packs throughout the duration of the title. Thankfully this isn’t game breaking as the rumours of simply a free Messi. Including the 5 game ‘trial’ of the best player on the game seems a fairer way to go about the pre-order bonus.
While players can get gold packs by playing, the game is already biased towards those able to pay for additional packs. Another way for EA to grab some extra money perhaps; in the form of the lure of Messi. Either way I’m sure only having him for five games will not tempt many that weren’t already going to pre-order.
