Final Fantasy XIII-2 Receives A Perfect Score

Famitsu magazine is one of the first publications in the world to receive and review Final Fantasy XIII-2. The respected Japanese magazine gave the game a perfect score of 40/40.

Famitsu reviews its games with four people playing the same game. Each of them rate the game out of 10 for a total score out of 40. Final Fantasy XIII-2 received all tens from the reviewers.

Final Fantasy XIII missed out on a perfect score when it was reviewed back in December 2009. It scored a 39/40. Famitsu doesn’t give perfect scores too often so this could mean Final Fantasy XIII-2 is much better than its predecessor…

  1. I liked ff13, and I think ff13-2 is much better. Reminds me of Chrono Trigger :D Anyways I currently have 159/160 fragments, just gotta kill a few more monsters!

  2. Well, that’s obvious. FFXIII was pretty… Improvable, whereas FFXIII-2 was quite, quite great. It is, at least, one of the most enjoyable games in the last generation of consoles, hands down.

  3. Sorry…complete BS. It is not perfect…the plot is just weak and re-hashed same lame hook as plenty other before. Tired of the atagonist being a weepy emo fruit trying to get his love back ripping apart and destorying the world to do it. Tired of the over-blown DBZ power-scale fights they rend continents…we get it….they are powerful. I don’t need them going Goku on each other with ever game…
