Sony Computer Entertainment Europe told VideoGamer.com there are currently no plans to price drop the PS Vita in Europe.
Sony said the price drop “is for the SCE Japan region only” and they’ve got “nothing to announce” regarding a price drop for European gamers.
It’s possible the price drop for the PS Vita for Western countries might be announced during the PlayStation meeting later this week. Sales for the handheld have been slow around the world and not many games have been released for the system either. A price drop might be the only step to ensure the console can still live on for the next couple of years…
