PS Vita 1.69 Firmware (Optional) Now Available

An optional firmware update for the PlayStation Vita is now available for download.

According to Sony, the 1.69 that you can download now via the handheld’s System Update adds nothing but it simply improves the system stability. Sorry folks, it’s not an update yet that will enable PS One Classics.

    wow i have had the strange luck of randomly cheching for update within an hour of live time for the past 3 patches. anyway so far the vita seams to run a bit smoother. loads stuff faster sutch as the game install when u turn the system on. might Just be me but the browser scrolling seems faster. posted with vita.
