eSports is becoming really popular around the world and gaming companies are taking notice of it. Bandai Namco is now hiring for an eSports Specialist as posted via their official website.
Here’s a small description of the job: “The Esports Specialist will help plan and execute the esports strategy for BANDAI NAMCO in North America. S/he will collaborate with the Brand team, PR team, Events team, international counterparts, and agency partners to develop and manage esports programs for BANDAI NAMCO franchises. This position requires outstanding project management and communication skills for highly effective teamwork across several teams and individuals internally and externally to ensure success.”
Bandai Namco has lots of fighting games that are ripe for tournaments. Last year saw the release of Tekken 7 while earlier this year people are already doing tournaments for the highly praised Dragon Ball FighterZ. The fighting games will continue to be released in the near future as Bandai will also release SoulCalibur VI later this year too.
In order to be successful for the role, you need to have experience in organizing tournaments as well as 2 to 4 years of social media experience as well.
