Video games have not done so well on the big screen, but things have been better on the small screen. Netflix will be airing a Castlevania TV show later this year.
Details are very scarce at the moment but as reported by io9, the first season of Castlevania will be debuting on Netflix in 2017. No other details have been released at this time.
This is cool for fans of the series if it can stay true to the source material. TV shows based on popular video games have fared better than live action movies as aforementioned.
Hopefully more details on this TV show will be shared soon. Netflix could open an avenue for more video game TV shows if this proves to be a success. We’re not sure if this TV show is animated or live-action yet, but the former sounds more intriguing in my opinion.
