Bloodborne Guide – How to Play Co-Op With Friends

Bloodborne Co-Op

In Bloodborne, there are times you will require assistance form others in order to defeat a boss. Just like in other Souls games, you will need a certain item in order to enable co-op in Bloodborne.

After dying in the first boss, which would be the Cleric Beast, go back to the Hunter’s World and get the ‘Beckoning Bell’ right beside the Doll. In addition to the Beckoning Bell that you will get, you will also get a ‘Silencing Blank’.

How to Play with Friends

Now that you have the ‘Beckoning Bell’, you can start playing with your friends. Here’s the step by step guide:

1. First, you must have an ‘Insight’. You can get insight from a downed corpse or after defeating the boss. For your first ‘Insight’, it will be located at the sewer area.
2. Once you have an ‘Insight’, ring the ‘Beckoning Bell’.
3. The game will now search for other players from your same area who also rung the ‘Resonating Bell’.
Note: You can purchase the Resonating Bell from the Messenger in the Hunter’s Dream if you have 10 Insights. He won’t appear until you have that 10 Insights.
4. If successful, other players will appear!

To play with friends, go to the Network options and put a password. Your friend and yourself must have the same password. Make it unique, that way you and your friend are the only ones that can play with one another.

Don’t like your partner and you want him gone from your game? Use the ‘Silencing Blank’.
