With Amiibo releasing on the Nintendo Wii U in just a few short weeks, a new firmware for the console gets released today, adding “Amiibo Settings” to the System Settings menu.
To download the new firmware, simply head to the System Settings menu and hit System Update. Find below the full patch notes via Nintendo:
Changes to System Settings:
- amiibo Settings has been added to System Settings. amiibo Settings allows users to register an amiibo owner and nickname, delete data written to an amiibo by supported software, or reset an amiibo
Improvements to system stability and usability:
- Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience
