Just when you thought Super Smash Bros. couldn’t get more hectic in its gameplay, Nintendo has announced an all new mode for those that have more than half a dozen Gamecube controllers just laying around.
Suitable only for local play, this new addition to the Wii U version ratchets up the crazy brawling with double the number of playable characters on screen. If you’ve ever wanted to battle with every costume variation of Jigglypuff on screen at once, now’s your chance. All of the roster is available, including Mii Fighters, but the stage selection is limited to some of the Ω-variants.
The 8-player Smash mode will be available when Super Smash for Wii U launches in North America on November 21st.
