Trion World released an announcement this week stating that game update 2.8 for Rift will be released on August 6th.
Not a lot of information was released for the upcoming update but Trion said it’s got something to do with a “a dream-born invasion rippling through the Plane of Water.” The new update is called Madness Wakes and Trion promised that more info is coming next week.
