For gamers in Australia and New Zealand, you won’t be able to get the PSN upgrade for Ultra Street Fighter IV.
As reported by NZGamer, Capcom has confirmed that “due to conflicting age ratings with the OFLC the digital upgrade will not be available on PSN across Australia and New Zealand. The XBLA digital upgrade and retail release in August are unaffected.”
It’s weird how only the PSN is affected and not XBLA. If you own a copy of Super Street Fighter IV on PS3, you won’t be able to buy the Ultra Street Fighter IV upgrade as DLC. You will instead have to buy the full game (again) if you want the new content.
If you live in Australia and New Zealand, this is pretty bad news if you’re a hardcore Street Fighter fan. Will you still want to pick up Ultra Street Fighter IV even though there’s no upgrade option?
