In the last week Star Citizen has proven even those with the highest hopes wrong by having a colossal $3 million pledged in the space of 7 days.
Originally funded as a crowd funding venture and a Kickstarter project Star Citizen is the PC only space simulator that is going from one height to another. November 26 marked a rather special day for the team at Cloud Imperium Games as it was the one year anniversary of being crowd funded. To celebrate they allowed gamers to purchase ships that are mostly not on sale and won’t be until the full game is out. A week ago the total stood below the gigantic $30 million mark and today Star Citizen stands tall on just over $33.2 million. Congratulations to the CIG team!
