Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will slice up shelves this March

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is definitely one of the stranger games coming out soon. The spinoff of the mainline Ninja Gaiden series now has an official release date of March 4, 2014.

This collaboration between Team Ninja, Spark Unlimited, and Comcept stars Yaiba Yamikaze, rather than taking on the role of ninja Ryu Hayabusa. Yaiba is a former ninja that was killed by Hayabusa and resurrected as a cyborg. The game centers around you stopping a zombie outbreak in exchange for the ability to take down Ryu Hayabusa.

It seems like everything is zombies these days, so it’s not surprise that the Ninja Gaiden series would take this path while it is hot. The premise for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z definitely one that intrigues me enough to want to try it out this March.
