PART 2/2: After the lengthy cutscenes of Chapter 3 and you reunited with the group in Hamil, go to Xian Du and speak to the girl again.

How to Trigger: Talk to Karla who is standing in front of the big statue in town. (refer to the screenshot above).
Objective: Watch the cutscene
PART 2/4 – After finishing the mission in Labari Hallows and you reunited with Elize and Alvin, go to the Inn and talk to Carla
PART 3/4 – After escaping from Kabanlar, go back to the Inn in Xian Du and talk to Karla on the second floor.
There are reports that you have to talk to Karla in the Arena after talking to her at the Inn.
PART 4/4 – As soon as you regroup with everyone at the Kabanlar Castle, don’t talk to Gaius yet! Go to the Inn in Kabanlar and talk to Karla for the last time.
The Wandering Youth
When to do it: As soon as you arrive in Xian Du
Reward for Completion: Great Tree’s Fruit
How to Trigger: Talk to the girl in the southeast area of the town. She’ll be by the boat where she’ll offer you a ride to Xagut Floodmeadow (refer to the screenshot above).
Objective: Find the lost brother at Xagut Floodmeadow.
Punish the Poachers
When to do it: On your way to rescue Elize in Labari Hallows
Reward for Completion: Horns, 5600 Gald
How to Trigger: Talk to the girl near the exit of Xian Du going to Royal Hunting Grounds (refer to the screenshot above).
Objective: Defeat the threat at the Royal Hunting Grounds. They’re located in the north region.
The Aftermath
When to do it: After finishing the mission in Labari Hallows and you reunited with Elize and Alvin.
Reward for Completion: None
How to Trigger: Go inside the Inn of Xian Du and rest. (refer to the screenshot above).

PART 2/2: It seems that Jude wants to get a Heart Herb for Milla. Get the Heart Herb from the loot bags in Mon Highlands.
For part 3 of the history of auj oule after talking to karla at the inn you need to talk to her at the arena as well
I didn’t have to talk to her at the Arena. I guess you’re following a Japanese guide?
I was cross refrencing yours with another guide, just hit the part I’m chapter 3 in kanbalar where the party groups back up and needs to talk to gaeus to leave, She’s not in the inn and the only thing I didn’t do was talk to her at the arena. Unless it’s supposed to close out later than that.
I didn’t talk to her at the arena but I was able to finish the quest by simply talking to her at the Inn in Kabanlar. Maybe you missed something along the way
I suppose it’s possible. Oh well.
Perhaps the arena is an event unique to Mila? I haven’t spoken to her at the arena either, and she is not at the inn. I’ve talked to her three times in total so far. At the statue, the Xian Du inn with Rowen and Jude, and then again with Alvin and Leia. My sub event marks event #3 as incomplete and 4 as greyed out.
Karla is not at the Kabanlar Inn and I’m not going back hours to an earlier save. Bummer.
Can you update your guide so that people check the inn and the arena in step three? People on other forums seem to be confirming that you need to do that in the US version as well.
Part 3/4 is accurate (as you can see in the screenshot). I’ve done it myself but I will add an alternative note.
*When I was doing this guide, Karla wasn’t on the Arena. I talked to her at the Inn in Xian Du but she never appeared at the Arena. I guess you guys are following the Japanese guide?

For the 4th part of the history of Auj Oule: You’ll find Karla at the inn in Xian Du, not in Kanbalar.
“The Cause of Shifting Spirit Climes” subevent does not appear “As soon as you arrive in Xian Du” (not for me at least). It appears after the cutscene near the wyverns cages ;)
