The rumors are true as Mirror’s Edge 2 as officially announced by EA at E3. It will be developed by DICE and is coming soon.
No release date was announced, as the trailer said it will be coming “whenever it’s ready”. This suggests the game is early in its development so might not be coming later this year.
Some rumors suggested the game will only be an Xbox One exclusive. EA did not announce any platforms for Mirror’s Edge 2 so there’s a possibility it could still be out for the PC and PS4 too.
It’s been many years since the first Mirror’s Edge game came out so it’s good we will be finally getting a sequel.
