LittleBigPlanet Vita Launch Festivities Detailed

LittleBigPlanet Vita Launch Festivities Detailed

As you may already know, some retailers have begun selling their copies of LittleBigPlanet Vita early. Though this is true, the actual full street date is still the same, being this week for Europe, and next for North America. With the release of a new LittleBigPlanet game comes the release of some cool new downloadable content.

For those out there who have already pre-ordered the game will receive the Bioshock and Knights of Old costumes when they pick up the game. For those who were waiting for a digital incentive, Sony has now revealed that anyone who purchases the game within the first week from the Playstation Store will also receive the Bioshock and Knights of Old costumes mentioned above.

Two timed downloadable content pieces will also be made available for the week of release of the game. For starters, if you’re willing to pay a premium, you can snag a snazzy new Rare Week One T-Shirt.

This shirt unlike previous ones will specially adapt to the player’s pop-it color and alter the shirt color as such. As you can see above, the pop-it color will be the outline and heart on the shirt, rather than the default black shirt itself, for those wondering. Available for only one week, this item will set you back $4.99.

Available to all users, and making a return is the ever popular launch Spacesuit! This costume first introduced with the launch of the original LittleBigPlanet makes a return yet again, but as usual for one week only! Get it before it’s gone, or you’ll have to wait until the next LittleBigPlanet game launches. Even if you don’t own any of the games, the content is free, so it can’t hurt to grab it if you plan to pick up the game down the line.

Finally, check out the launch trailer for LittleBigPlanet Vita to get yourself hyped for the game if you haven’t already played it.
