Amy Hennig Has Left EA And Her Star Wars Game Is ‘On The Shelf’

Amy Hennig is known to many to be the writer for the Uncharted game trilogy developed by Naughty Dog. After leaving Naughty Dog, Hennig joined EA to make a linear Star Wars adventure video game. Well now it has been revealed she’s no longer at EA anymore too!

Eurogamer had a chance to catch up with Amy Hennig and she revealed in the interview that she has actually left EA since January 2018. She also mentioned the Star Wars game that she was working on has been but “on the shelf” for now.

EA were going to make a linear Star Wars game much like Uncharted, but EA decided against that. Hennig suggests the game is now an open world title, although that was the last she heard of it.

Hennig is now wanting to make her own independent studio with up to 15 people. She wants to also focus on VR technology so her future in the industry still looks bright.
