A release date to the Detective Pikachu movie has been revealed and you don’t have to wait too long to see the film. Universal Pictures announced the date via a new press release.
The official release date for the Detective Pikachu movie is May 10th, 2019. Pikachu will be voiced by none other than Ryan Reynolds of Deadpool fame.
The human lead characters will be played by Justice Smith and Kathryn Newton. Smith’s character has a missing father so the trio have to go and find him.
Rob Letterman is the director for the movie and production for it will start in January 2018. Hopefully the movie can still be a success since it’s out in the same month as Disney’s Avengers 4!
