The new character in Street Fighter V has now been announced by Capcom and his name is Ed. He was previously a non-playable character, but now you can be him.
Ed is a bad guy as he serves under M. Bison. The character was kidnapped as a young kid and S.I.N/Shadaloo did experiments on him. He was supposed to be a replacement body for M. Bison.
He was featured in the stories of Street Fighter IV, but he now ages at an accelerated rate. He fights similarly to M. Bison as he has somewhat familiar attacks.
Capcom did not announce a release date for Ed in Street Fighter V just yet. You can buy him in the Season 2 Character Pass that also includes Akuma, Kolin and three other unannounced characters. The Character Pass costs $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99. More on the character can be seen in the trailer below.
