Women soldiers are playable in Call of Duty: WWII. Apparently both the single player campaign and multiplayer modes will allow you to play as females.
A fan asked Sledgehammer Games’ Michael Condrey on Twitter if female characters are playable in Call of Duty: WWII. Condrey replied with a positive “Yes, for sure!”.
This is significant since Battlefield 1 did not include any playable female soldiers whatsoever. Not to mention it’s the first time female soldiers have been included in the World War 2 settings of the COD series. Previously, females were only playable in the modern and future COD games.
The new Call of Duty video game is out worldwide on November 3rd, 2017 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms. By pre-ordering the game, you get access to the private beta.
