To celebrate the day behind the fear of triskaidekaphobia, or the fear of the number 13, Mortal Kombat X will be receiving a special bonus.
As part of the Kombat pack (Netherrealms’ version of a season pass), four bonus characters will be added to the roster post-release. The first of which will be the signature hockey mask-wearing antagonist, Jason Vorhees. A special reveal trailer for him has been released below. In addition to Mr. Vorhees, the Kombat pack will also include an additional guest character as well as two returning members of the cast. Costumewise, the Kombat pack will include the Samurai pack including three new character skins: Kenshi (Ronin), Shinnok (Samurai) and Jingu (Kitana). If you hadn’t heard these character’s names in Mortal Kombat X‘s official roster yet, consider that a bonus surprise!
