Hideo Kojima’s latest entry into his seriously-not-serious stealth series will be getting a special hour-long event at this year’s Gamescom. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set to showcase before Gamescom officially kicks off.
Konami will be streaming a special presentation on Wednesday, August 13th for those that will not be able to make it to Gamescom 2014. Available via their Twitch channel, the stream will start at 11AM Pacific, 2PM Eastern on Wednesday morning. Kojima himself will be presenting live gameplay along with a Q&A to follow with a “few surprises” for the fans. Could it be that we’ll finally get a release date for The Phantom Pain?
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will release on Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One. No release date has been formally announced by Konami or Hideo Kojima himself.
