The Borderlands series has found quite an audience in recent years, thanks to its gameplay and overall fun atmosphere. While we are waiting for the next two entries in the series, with Tales From The Borderlands and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Gearbox Software and 2K have teamed up with The Academy of Art University in San Francisco to bring us three student-made animated shorts set in the Borderlands universe.
This partnership, which began in 2013, allowed some students at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco to intern at 2K, which led to the creation of these shorts. All three shorts have been released through the Machinima channel on YouTube, which you can see below:
