Gearbox Software's Borderlands is a hit, no doubt about it. Who knew being an alien treasure hunter could be so fun? Since Borderlands was released last October, there has been a steady stream of downloadable content for the action/shooter. Mad Moxxi, a twisted ringleader of sorts, is the main character for The Underdome, which offers some intense arena action and a new area to store gear.

It is no doubt that Fallout 3 is one of the best role-playing games since the release of since, but are some games trying to copy? With Borderlands coming out in a few days, we've spent a lot of time with the game and before we publish our review this week, we would like to point out some similarities between Borderlands and Fallout 3.
