Through yesterday’s Mario Kart 8 themed Nintendo Direct, we received plenty of new information about the game, and a portion was spent on new challengers in the game. Plenty of these were ones we already knew about, like the Koopalings, but we also we introduced to two brand new racers for the series.
The disappointing thing is that neither of these two characters are really new, but just different versions of existing racers. The first of these is Baby Rosalina, joining multiple other baby racers. Baby Rosalina is a light class racer, just like the rest of the babies.
The other new racer is similar to Metal Mario with Pink Gold Peach. This is kind of a strange choice, but is interesting nonetheless. Just like Metal Mario, she will be a heavy class racer.Check out the full “New Challengers” portion of the Nintendo Direct below:
