As they did last year, Microsoft is holding a big “Countdown to 2014” sale on the Xbox 360. There is currently an ad on the dashboard for it that you should notice right away.
There will be one specific game on sale each day from here until the end of the year, starting with Borderlands 2 at only $7.49 today. The DLC for the game is also marked down a good bit. Tomorrow Borderlands 2 will no longer be on sale, but another mystery game will take its place.
Beyond that, there are “Awesome Week Long Deals” that will be good until December 23, which include a number of fantastic options for you. I personally had to pick up Bioshock Infinite at 65% off for only $13.99, as I missed out on the game earlier in the year and have been waiting to get it at a lower price. Pretty much every Spider-Man and X-Men game is on sale for about 67% off. Some arcade games like The Simpsons, X-Men, and Castle of Illusion are 50% off as well.
