SEGA teased a “surprise announcement” recently and now they’re ready to show us what they have in store for their fans. Their “surprise” ended up surprising very few, as they announced a new Yakuza game. Yakuza Ishin, which translates to Yakuza Restoration, is the next entry into the series and stars a character named Ryoma Sakamoto.
Very little else is currently known, with speculation circling around the idea that the game takes place during the Meiji Restoration of the 1800′s. We’ll have to wait for this week’s issue of Famitsu to release to find out more, like whether Restoration will make its way to the PlayStation 4.
