The first major update for Take on Mars has recently been released, adding the exciting new feature of being able to control the landings of your craft.

The manual landings were added in a patch on 14 August, followed a day later by a work in progress limited fuel system for the landing craft. In addition to these new features came a variety of game fixes and improvements, as well as a new Tech level 5 small rover configuration to use. As the game requires Steam updates are handled automatically so next time you load up the game the new features should be there for you to play with.
