Sony has reiterated the fact that it’s unlikely we’ll see a port of Gran Turismo 6 on PS Vita.
It all comes down to power as the PS Vita is still not as powerful as a PS3 console. It sounds like it will be a very had job porting a huge game like Gran Turismo 6 onto a portable system.
Here’s what Sony’s President of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, told IGN:
The PS Vita is a very powerful portable system, but not quite as powerful as PS3. As you can tell looking at GT6, it really is using PS3 to a very high level. So it’s going to be really hard to move GT6 onto PS Vita.
Sony could release a “light” version of Gran Turismo 6 on the PS Vita if they want to. A smaller version of Gran Turismo was released for the PSP a couple of years ago.
Remote play for Gran Turismo 6 is possible only if they decide to port the game onto the PS4 however…
Why you guys are making it so difficult to bring GT6 to the vita, it always have to be some sort of excuse. Look what criterian did with NEED FOR SPEED .SONY Just full of $#!+
I am getting rid of my vita. That’s the only reason i bought it.
