Rumor: Elder Scrolls Online Delayed Until Next Year

Elder Scrolls Online is no doubt a highly anticipated release among PC gamers. The promising MMO hopes to break away from traditional class systems and allow players to carve their own, unique path. Now, the beta is said to be kicking off at the end of the month, leaving many beta sign-up entrants wondering if they’re going to be chosen. Almost all news regarding ZeniMax Online Studios’ game has been positive. That is, until now.

One of God is a Geek’s unnamed sources revealed to them that the MMO was being pushed back into March of next year, resulting in a 2014 release date rather than the expected late 2013 time frame. Bethesda has, so far, refused to comment on this speculation/rumor. As long as we don’t see a delay in the in this month’s initial beta rollout plan, I’ll consider this more fiction than fact. I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough either way.

  1. Wow, thanks for the update Mark. Although some of us may think that this look so generic or a clone, lets just wait and see until we get a good view on the mechanics and gameplay. And hope it meets our requirements before judging this MMO, I don’t see why anyone would hate it before it release.
