Rock Band Receives “American Pie” As Its Final Song Ever

Rock Band Final DLC Song

The DLC support for Rock Band has been strong. Sadly though, good things always come to an end and the game is to receive its final song in April.

The last ever song that will be a part of the Rock Band music library will be Don McLean’s “American Pie”. The full song has been added which clocks in at over 8 minutes long. Harmonix has already released over 4000 songs that are playable for Rock Band added new songs to the game each week for the past 275 weeks.

The song will be available from April 2nd. Harmonix mentioned support for Rock Band ended to it can concentrate on allocating resources for “several new titles in development.”
