Rumor: Next Xbox will have Blu-ray and will block used games

A new rumor has surfaced in regards to Microsoft’s next Xbox that is said to be announced this year.

Based on Edge’s sources, the next Xbox will have a blu-ray drive and an always-on Internet connection. They also mention that there will now be an improved Kinect and the always-on internet feature is supposed to cut out the use of pre-owned games, meaning they’re following the foot steps of the rumored PS4′s anti-used games policy.

As always, this is just a rumor since Microsoft hasn’t confirmed this feature on their next Xbox. If ever, we should hear more about the next Xbox later this year, following the supposed announcement of the PlayStation 4 this February 20th.
