Now that April Fools’ Day is over with, we can start taking everyone seriously again and that’s good because a major hint was dropped on Twitter today. Konami producer David Cox has decided to have a little fun with his Castelvania fan followers on Twitter. His latest tweet has many believing that a sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be revealed soon.

During the series’ 25th anniversary, Cox stated that “Castlevania will never die” and that it definitely will be returning in the future. With Lords of Shadow holding a commendable score of 85 on Metacritic, I’d say there’s no doubt that a follow-up to the critically acclaimed entry is getting close to being announced.
PAX East is just four days away and E3 is in two months. I believe one of these huge events will hold the unveiling of the sequel to Lords of Shadow.
