WWEGames Creative Director Cory Ledesma revealed on twitter that he will be more “hands-on” with the design this year. He wants to make sure the storyline in WWE ’13 is better than in WWE ’12.
He tweeted the following:
“I’m much more hands on with design this year. Personally taking over the story mode for #WWE13. It will be epic, that much I can guarantee!”
Anyone who has ever played WWE ’12 will know how boring the “Road to WrestleMania mode was. You could only be three Superstars and a lot of the matches were backstage shoot fights against multiple opponents. Hopefully WWE ’13 will have a more exciting storyline mode…
I think it should improve from ’12’s story mode. The concept was good, the choice of superstars, and acting, of course, should increase. I was disappointed with how the acting was, especially from the start.
