One of the more surprising revelations this week was that Virtua Fighter’s Akira will be in Dead or Alive 5. It appears he may not be the only Virtua Fighter person who may appear in the game.
In Famitsu magazine, Team Ninja’s Yousuke Hayashi reveals it was difficult trying to get SEGA’s approval at first to let them use Akira in the game. He went on to say that Akira “won’t be the only character“. This could mean more Virtua Fighter people may be featured in Dead or Alive 5.
He also noted Akira’s moves are unchanged. Unlike in Street Fighter X Tekken where the Tekken characters have different commands for their moves.
Dead or Alive 5 is out this September for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
