DICE has announced that they are releasing a patched version of the Back to Karkand DLC on the Playstation Network tomorrow for users to download. The download will be free of charge if you already own the Back to Karkand DLC. This is simply a patched version of the download that aims to fix the weapon animations that caused a few problems with players.
Users can choose not to download the new version for awhile but will eventually be required to download the patch if they want to continue playing the game. DICE’s Tommy Rydling stated on Battlelog: “Note that changes made on our back end will make this re-download mandatory in the near future. If you buy Back to Karkand for the first time after tomorrow, no additional action is necessary.” Hopefully this fixes some of the issues that players have been having with the DLC.
