The Cortex A-9 is a beautiful little thing. It’s the brainchild of ARM Holdings, and it can run tech demos that have the CPU at 2 GHz… on a portable. This is about the same power as most desktop computers in the modern age.
So far, every announcement (besides a rather unfortunate one.) has helped to push back the extremely negative feedback from the announcement that the Vita will be utilizing the most hated service provider out there.
This appears to be the cherry on top for anyone still aiming to get a PSVita after the recent slew of Vita news. “It’s going to be a massive leap on in terms of technology.” says Lance Howarth, a general manager at ARM Holdings.
This along with the announcement of every unit being region free seems to be putting the upcoming PSVita on the top in the portable wars.

September 18, 2011 at 6:08 PMThat’s a lie cause Home Consoles are ALWAYS 1 gen behind PC’s in processing power and while non-Nintendo Handhelds at are always 1 gen behind Home Console in processing power and Nintendo’s Handhelds are always 2 Generations behind Home Console just to be dirt cheap and affordable. Vita may have caught up to PS360 but will be one gen behind again once xbox720 and PS4 come out and PC’s pulling 1 gen ahead ps4/720 by then.

September 18, 2011 at 10:54 PMCheck the facts before stating anything. Below is a link to Arms Holding website with the agreement that was made in January between both of the companies. Alone this speaks in of itself.
