Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Beta Starts Next Month

During the Eurogamer Expo today, Chet Faliszek from Valve went on record saying that the PC beta for CS:GO will start early next month.

It isn’t for everyone though. Those who received beta codes at the Eurogamer Expo and some people who are part of pro-gaming will be the first to try out the beta in October. Don’t be too discouraged as Faliszek went on to say that the beta will continue increasing in size until everyone is able to play by the end of the year, or at least that’s the time frame he’s hoping for.

Unfortunately, there’s no sign of a PS3 or Xbox 360 beta at this time. We’ll keep you up to date as the beta opens up to more people and, hopefully, more consoles.
