Destructoid has reported that Nintendo of America is unfortunately not publishing Xenoblade in the USA.
Other Wii titles such as The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower are also not on Nintendo of America’s list for localization. European gamers are luckier Xenoblade will be published and released over there.
Nintendo replied on Facebook about the games confirming there will be no plans of releasing them in North America:
“Thank you for your enthusiasm. We promised an update, so here it is. We never say “never,” but we can confirm that there are no plans to bring these three games to the Americas at this time. Thanks so much for your passion, and for being such great fans!”
This is unfortunate news to say the least for American Wii gamers. The best option they can do now is import the games from Europe.
Canadian, American, Mexican and Brazilian gamers are going to have to try harder: perhaps hold a protest at Nintendo headquarters, with a prominent banner stating: WE WANT XENOBLADES. Or even better: WE WANT XENOBLADES AND TAKT OF MAGIC.
