LittleBigPlanet 2 fans I regrettably bring bad news. Mm has made the decision to delay the release of LittleBigPlanet 2 until January 2011. The game was originally going to be released in January but the date was brought forward, to this November. It seems while Mm were being ambitious it was a bit too ambitious.
Media Molecule has commented saying while they know this might be “disappointing news for all you LittleBigPlanet fans” that it will be worth it. With the extra time Mm are going to be making sure and polishing LittleBigPlanet 2 till it is “the best experience imaginable” so I think we can let Mm off.
To keep as many LittleBigPlanet fans happy Mm have said “we are going to find a way to give more of you a taste of LBP2 prior to launch, so stay tuned”. Does this mean a demo closer to the time? Or maybe even more invites to the Beta will become available. We will have to wait to find out what Mm mean.
