War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius coming November 14 in Japan

Square Enix is pleased to announce today that War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will be launching this November 14 in Japan for smartphone devices.

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a free-to-play title that offers in-app purchases. It is a follow-up title to the critically-acclaimed Final Fantasy Brave Exvius that is now available on iOS and Android phones.

In addition, Square Enix also announced that over five million users have pre-registered for the game. All players will be receiving “SSR Y’shtola Rhul” from Final Fantasy XIV as a gift upon playing.

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius takes place in the continent of Adler, which is located in the world of Lapis. In the land where the legend of crystals has been passed down since ancient times, the story of a “War of the Visions” revolving around supremacy will begin.

Departing from the turn-based battle system that was introduced in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, War of the Visions is now a strategy RPG set on 3D fields with different levels of elevations. It will feature an “Auto Mode” and “High-Speed Mode,” allowing even beginners to easily jump in.

As always, this game will have summoning aspects where most likely past characters from the Final Fantasy franchise can be summoned to your party.

Sadly, there’s no word yet as to when the game will be released in the west.
