The original Final Fantasy 7 game is a classic mainly because people loved its turn-based RPG style of combat. Well it looks like any turn-based system is out the window when Square Enix eventually releases Final Fantasy 7 Remake in the near future.
As reported by Siliconera, a new job listing from Square Enix has been revealed looking for a new VFX designer. The wording of the job description heavily emphasizes Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a pure action game.
The listing says it’s “a position that will carry the core of Final Fantasy VII Remake that is being remade as an action game” and “a chance to challenge the world with a new Final Fantasy action.
It’s worth mentioning the game could just be an action RPG with a more active combat system. We’ve seen this before with the likes of Final Fantasy XV and the Kingdom Hearts video games.
