Taki Has Been Revealed To Join The Soulcalibur VI Roster

Taki Has Been Revealed To Join The Soulcalibur VI Roster

The fighting game roster of Soulcalibur VI is growing at a steady rate and now we have another new fighter announced for the upcoming game. Today, Bandai Namco has announced that fan favorite Taki will be joining the game’s launch roster when it comes out later this year.

Here’s a brief description of the character as outlined by Bandai Namco: “Taki is a famous ninja also known as the Fu-Ma’s Shadow, so there’s no doubting her fighting skills! She is also an expert in blacksmithing having crafted her own two swords Rekki-Maru & Mekki-Maru. Her last master piece Mekki-Maru is fused with a fragment of the Cursed Sword. Even if the whereabouts of the Soul Edge are unknown, Taki’s weapon still glows with a mysterious power …”

Taki has always been a favorite since she’s one of the original characters that appeared back in Soul Edge in the ’90s. Since then, she has been pretty much featured in every other Soulcalibur video game ever released.

Taki will be joining Geralt, Grøh, Ivy, Kilik, Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Siegfried, Sophitia, Xianghua and Zasalamel as other characters in the roster. Soulcalibur VI will be out later this year for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms. Check out the new trailer below.
