Shadow of the Tomb Raider Set To Be Released Later This Year

Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics is soon going to reveal the new Tomb Raider game called ‘Shadow of the Tomb Raider’ very soon. This is all thanks to a new teaser website that popped up online earlier today.

By viewing the ‘source code‘ of the website, you can see some more clues about the game. Reportedly, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will have a worldwide release date of September 14th, 2018 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms. It’s possible all platforms are getting the game at the same time unlike Rise of the Tomb Raider which was a timed exclusive on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

The source code of the website also says “Shadow of The Tomb Raider is the climatic finale of Lara’s origin story“. It will be the end of the trilogy which started with the reboot that came out back in early 2013. Speaking of the 2013 reboot, that game is the inspiration for the new Tomb Raider movie coming out this weekend starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft.

It’s being said that all pre-order info and other versions of the game will be announced by April 27th, 2018. We will have to wait for over a month to see what pre-order bonuses are being included.

The only official thing revealed now is the logo you see from the teaser website with an announcement to be made sometime tomorrow. Hopefully some kind of gameplay footage is shown so we can see how improved the graphics have become since 2015.
