EA has announced that EA Sports UFC 3 will be released in the near future. The MMA video game will have its full reveal on Friday.
EA released a teaser for EA Sports UFC 3 on the official Twitter account. Already confirmed for the game include Connor McGregor, Georges St. Pierre, Anderson Silva and Demetrious Johnson. You can be sure more names will be added including many female fighters too.
THQ used to publish the UFC games before that company shut down. EA took the license afterwards and has released two video games so far. They have been somewhat well received, although the combat system is hard to master if you are a noob.
MMA has skyrocketed in popularity thanks to the UFC. As of right now, the gaming franchise is only available on PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Hopefully this third game is able to be released on PC and Nintendo Switch too.
