It looks like Dragon Ball FighterZ will include content from Dragon Ball Super after all because the newer versions of Goku and Vegeta are to be included.
If you have been following Dragon Ball Super, you’ll know the newest transformation for Goku and Vegeta is Super Saiyan Blue. The other name for it is Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, although it was changed to Blue since it was too long.
Thanks to the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump (via ShonenGamez), new scans show the Blue versions of Goku and Vegeta. They are being advertised as different characters, so they aren’t transformations.
Another thing revealed in the scan is that Dragon Ball FighterZ will have some sort of story mode that features a revived Android 16. Hopefully it’s an original storyline. The game itself is out in early 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
