The new Tomb Raider movie starring Alicia Vikander will be out in the near future. The film has now cast another actor who will play the role of Lara Croft’s dad.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Dominic West has been cast as Lord Richard Croft who is the father of Lara Croft. If you don’t know him, you may have recognized him in John Carter and he recently was the voice of Rudder in Finding Dory.
Alicia Vikander plays Lara Croft while Walton Goggins has been cast as the main villain. The movie is being directed by Roar Uthaug who was responsible for The Wave.
No release date for Tomb Raider has been set yet, but the movie will be out in the year of 2018. Hopefully this film can break the video game movie curse. Video game movies continue to disappoint both critics and fans alike.
