Almost a year following its release, Zenimax Online Studios is pleased to announce today that The Elder Scrolls Online is now subscription free.
Gamers who have purchased the PC version before will now have unlimited access to the game. Those who haven’t will have to purchase the game under its new re-branded name, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. Just like Guild Wars 2, gamers will have infinite access to the game, though there’s a Premium Subscription available for those wanting to get complimentary Crowns for the in-game shop, access to the game’s upcoming DLC, bonus on experience points and more.

The PS4 and Xbox One version of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will be released on June 9.
