Bloodborne To Be Playable At Gamescom

First revealed as a Playstation 4 exclusive during Sony’s E3 briefing, Bloodborne has garnered a large bit of buzz around the internet. From Software’s latest title marks the return of Demon’s Souls/Dark Souls veteran Hidetaka Miyazaki in a directorial role after skipping Dark Souls 2 (he was supervising, not directing).

Gamescom, set for August 13-17 in Cologne, Germany, marks the first playable build of Bloodborne for the public. Unlike E3, Gamescom is open to the public, so dedicated Souls fans will be able to try out the title long before its intended release next year. With the hands-on demo, perhaps we can see just how similar Bloodborne compares to both the Dark Souls and Shadow Tower series, both previous titles in From Software’s portfolio.
